David Jarsbo Acquitted in Prize Money Dispute with Ex-Girlfriend

David Jarsbo, a former winner of “Paradise Hotel,” has been acquitted by the Western High Court in a dispute over prize money with his ex-girlfriend and former co-participant, Sille Nimholm. The ruling overturns a previous decision that ordered Jarsbo to pay Nimholm a portion of his winnings.

The legal battle stemmed from the 2021 season of the reality TV show when Jarsbo won 500,000 kroner. During the final “loyalty test,” he chose to keep the entire sum. Nimholm claimed she had been promised half of the money and initiated legal action.

Last year, the Court in Aarhus sided with Nimholm, ruling that she was entitled to a share of the prize money. Jarsbo was ordered to pay her 107,500 kroner. He subsequently appealed the decision.

The Western High Court has now reversed the lower court’s ruling, acquitting Jarsbo of any obligation to pay Nimholm. Furthermore, Nimholm has been ordered to pay Jarsbo 20,000 kroner in compensation. The dispute also involved accusations of drug abuse, infidelity, and broken promises, adding complexity to the case.
