The Danish U21 national team triumphed over Wales with a dominant 6-2 victory in their European Championship qualifier match. The win marks a strong start to their campaign and a successful competitive debut for coach Lars Knudsen.

Five different Danish players contributed to the goal tally in the second half, overturning an early 2-0 deficit.

Wales initially took the lead, with Tanatswa Nyakuhwa scoring just 39 seconds into the game. Chris Popov then extended their advantage after half an hour.

Despite the shaky start, Denmark gradually found their rhythm. Thomas Jørgensen scored a reduction goal following an assist from Clement Bischoff.

Adam Daghim equalized shortly after the restart, dribbling through the defense to make it 2-2. Bischoff then assisted Conrad Harder, putting Denmark ahead.

Oscar Schwartau, August Priske, and Silas Andersen further solidified Denmark’s victory with additional goals.
