A prominent Danish rapper is facing accusations of evading approximately 3.3 million kroner in taxes between 2015 and 2018. The allegations were revealed during a court hearing Tuesday afternoon at the Court in Glostrup.

During the hearing, a judge denied a request for an anonymity order for the accused rapper.

However, the rapper’s legal representative has appealed this decision, meaning the Eastern High Court will now determine whether an anonymity order should be granted.

The rapper has consistently denied the charge of tax evasion throughout the legal proceedings, according to his lawyer.

In arguing for the anonymity order, the defense lawyer stated that public identification of the defendant would constitute an unwarranted violation and could potentially lead to financial repercussions.
