A coalition of Danish political parties, including the Denmark Democrats and the Radical Left, has formed a united front against the government following a Supreme Court ruling.
The ruling compels the Danish Security and Intelligence Service (PET) and the Danish Defence Intelligence Service (FE) to acknowledge Ahmed Samsam’s cooperation with them during his trips to Syria in 2013 and 2014.
Samsam’s work involved gathering intelligence on Danish Syrian fighters.
The parties, despite their differing ideologies, are challenging the government’s handling of the situation in light of this acknowledgement.
