Mads Mensah, a prominent player on the Danish national handball team, will be joining Skjern Håndbold on a four-year contract. The West Jutland club made the announcement on Wednesday, securing the experienced player for the upcoming seasons.

Mensah’s arrival at Skjern marks a return to Danish handball after a successful stint in Germany. He spent the last five seasons playing for Flensburg-Handewitt, where he contributed significantly to the team’s performance.

The 33-year-old’s departure from Flensburg-Handewitt was confirmed earlier this week, with the Danish club announcing that his contract had been terminated a year early. This paved the way for his transfer to Skjern Håndbold, much to the delight of the club and its fans.
