Danish Ice Hockey Players Scramble for Essentials Ahead of World Championship Semi-Final

The Danish national ice hockey team is facing unexpected logistical challenges as they prepare for their World Championship semi-final game. Following their stunning 2-1 quarter-final victory over Canada, players are scrambling to gather essential items for the remainder of the tournament.

Morten Poulsen revealed that some players hadn’t anticipated such a deep run and are now dealing with practical matters like running out of clean socks.

The team, which had been playing its games in Herning, Denmark, now needs to travel to Stockholm, Sweden, for the semi-final. This unexpected trip has exposed a lack of preparedness, with some players reportedly forgetting to pack their passports.

Peter Regin, a member of the Danish coaching staff and general manager for Herning Blue Fox, even had to make a trip home to Herning after the quarterfinal to replenish his supply of underwear and socks, ensuring he’s ready for a few more days in Stockholm.
