Terma, a Danish defense company, has reported significant growth in revenue, profit, and order intake due to the current geopolitical climate and ongoing war in Europe. According to the company’s 2024/25 financial statement, revenue increased to nearly 2.9 billion kroner, up from just over 2.6 billion kroner the previous year.
The company’s profit also saw a substantial rise, reaching 222 million kroner, which is an increase of 67 million kroner. CEO of Terma, Henriette Hallberg Thygesen, stated in the financial report that the company is dedicated to meeting the rising demand for military equipment.
Terma’s order book has expanded significantly, growing from 3.4 billion kroner to almost 4.5 billion kroner. The increased demand is a direct result of governments across NATO and the EU increasing their defense investments to strengthen national and collective security.
Thygesen noted the importance of reliable defense and security solutions, not only for military applications but also for safeguarding civilian infrastructure, especially in light of developments in Europe, the Baltic Sea region, and the Arctic.
Established in 1949 and based in Lystrup near Aarhus, Terma operates in various sectors, including aviation, space, surveillance and missile systems, as well as support and services, and is known for producing advanced surveillance radars.
