Oplevelsescenter Nyvang in Holbæk initiated the construction on Friday. The museum secured the rights to build the physical replica of the hotel following the series’ conclusion in 2024. The project aims to recreate the ambiance and aesthetics of the iconic seaside hotel featured in the show.
Michael Bille Frandsen, producer of “Badehotellet,” expressed enthusiasm for the project, stating that the reconstruction will delight fans and provide a unique opportunity to step into the beautiful set. The replica promises a faithful recreation of the beloved hotel.
Oplevelsescenter Nyvang, a museum dedicated to portraying Danish history from 1930 to 1959, is undertaking this ambitious project. The museum is expanding its offerings by bringing the fictional world of “Badehotellet” to life.
The project is budgeted at 15 million kroner and has received financial backing from various entities, including Holbæk Municipality, Sparekassen Sjælland Fonden, and Region Sjælland. The funding highlights the widespread support for this venture and its potential to attract visitors.
