Several towns in Zealand and other parts of Denmark experienced cloudbursts and heavy rainfall on Tuesday, leading to potential disruptions and hazardous conditions.

The Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI) reported that Holbæk and Gundsømagle were among the towns in Zealand affected by the sudden downpours.

Areas further south, including Køge and Nakskov, also experienced significant rainfall.

According to reports, a cloudburst was registered over the Limfjord as well.

Earlier on Tuesday, DMI issued two category 1 warnings for heavy rain and local cloudbursts across large parts of Denmark.

The meteorological institute urged citizens to be aware that the weather development may affect your surroundings and outdoor activities.
