A car and a truck collided on the Helsingør motorway Tuesday morning, leading to its closure in the northbound direction. The incident occurred between the Kildegårdsvej and Søgårdsvej exits, according to North Zealand Police.
Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene. However, the condition of the two individuals involved in the accident remains unknown at this time, police said. The cause of the collision is also under investigation.
The closure has resulted in traffic congestion on the affected road section. The Danish Road Directorate reported on X that travel times may be extended by 10 to 30 minutes. Authorities anticipate that the traffic delays will persist into the afternoon.
