Brøndby Sells Sebastian Sebulonsen to FC Köln

FC Köln has acquired Norwegian right-back Sebastian Sebulonsen from Brøndby IF. The Bundesliga club secured the transfer after Sebulonsen’s three-year stint with the Danish team.

Brøndby’s football director, Benjamin Schmedes, acknowledged Sebulonsen’s significant growth and importance to the team. Schmedes stated that the transfer presented a beneficial resolution for all parties involved, especially with only a year remaining on Sebulonsen’s contract.

During his time at Brøndby IF, Sebulonsen played in 77 matches. The transfer fee is reportedly around 22.5 million kroner, more than double the amount Brøndby originally paid for him when he joined from Viking.

Brøndby has already secured a replacement for Sebulonsen, acquiring 23-year-old Oliver Villadsen from German Nuremberg. Villadsen previously played for FC Nordsjælland.
