Berlingske experiences personnel changes

Kasper Krogh, Berlingske’s social affairs editor, is leaving to become a leading editor at Danmarks Radio (DR) on August 11. Pierre Collignon, editor-in-chief at Berlingske, acknowledged that DR is fortunate to acquire such a skilled and experienced journalistic leader. Krogh has been described as a “culture bearer” at Berlingske and will be missed.

Simultaneously, culture editor Birgitte Borup is stepping down from her management role to become a commentator within the debate editorial staff. She will also lead the development of Berlingske’s live events. Tom Jensen, Berlingske’s executive editor, praised Borup’s work as culture editor and expressed satisfaction that she will remain with the organization in a new capacity.

Henrik Jensen, currently deputy editor at the Christiansborg editorial staff, will succeed Kasper Krogh as social affairs editor, effective August 1. Collignon cited Jensen’s ability to enhance material, ensure ethical soundness, and imbue stories with a distinctive Berlingske character. Jensen has been with Berlingske since 2011.

Berlingske is actively seeking replacements for both the culture editor and the deputy editor positions. The culture editor job posting is already available, and the deputy editor position will be posted soon.
