An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a grenade explosion at a nail salon in Copenhagen in April. The incident occurred at the intersection of Frederikssundsvej and Tomsgårdsvej, causing damage to several windows.
The arrested man is charged with possessing the grenade along with another individual before it was allegedly handed over to the person who brought it to the nail salon.
During a court hearing at Copenhagen City Court on Saturday, the man’s defense lawyer, Arvid Andersen, stated that his client pleads not guilty.
The defendant declined to answer questions about the case during the hearing, citing fatigue and hash use affecting his memory, according to his lawyer.
The police investigation’s findings have not been disclosed, as the judge decided to close the doors to the public. No injuries were reported as a result of the explosion at the nail salon.
