A 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder following a knife attack on Baltorpvej in Ballerup on Wednesday evening.

The Copenhagen West Police announced on X that a custody hearing for the suspect will be held on Thursday.

The victim, a 36-year-old man, sustained injuries to his stomach area during the assault.

Police were alerted to the incident shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday. Initial reports indicated that the victim’s condition was critical.

As of Thursday, police have not disclosed the relationship between the suspect and the victim. Furthermore, the motive for the attack remains unknown.
