Several roads in Denmark remain closed Wednesday morning due to flooding caused by recent heavy rainfall, according to the Danish Road Directorate’s traffic map.

The E20 West Motorway towards Halsskov has one lane closed at the Tjæreby exit. Earlier, the same motorway was completely closed overnight between exit 41 Tjæreby and exit 40b Vemmelev, but one lane reopened at 6:59 AM.

On Falster, the bypass towards Nykøbing Falster between Sønder Vedby and Kraghave remains closed. This area has been particularly impacted by heavy rainfall.

Further west on the E47 from Sakskøbing towards Rødby, between Våbensted and Lysmose, water is present on the road. While passable with caution, the right lane is closed.

In western Zealand, Route 23 from Tølløse towards Kalundborg is closed between Mørkøv and Jyderup due to flooding.
