One of the world’s largest cruise ships, “Star of the Seas,” is scheduled to navigate the Great Belt (Storebælt) on Saturday. Constructed at a shipyard in Turku, Finland, the massive vessel embarked on its initial journey on Friday.
The ship’s destination is Florida, where it will commence passenger voyages on August 31. As of shortly before 1 PM, the “Star of the Seas” was located in the Langeland Belt, proceeding toward the Great Belt.
Owned by Royal Caribbean Cruises, the ship boasts a capacity of 5610 guests and measures 365 meters in length. The “Star of the Seas” offers a wide range of amenities, including over 20 restaurants, six water slides, and a surf simulator.
