A 98-year-old woman has died following a fire in a retirement home in Solbjerg. The incident occurred on Friday evening at approximately 9 PM on Bøgevangen.

The woman was rescued from her apartment and immediately taken to the hospital, but she passed away on Saturday. Police confirmed the death to the media on Sunday.

The fire also affected a neighboring house. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, with technicians called to the scene to determine the origin of the blaze.
