Train bus services between Zealand and Jutland are operating smoothly despite motorway accidents and traffic congestion on the Great Belt Bridge. According to DSB’s Head of Information, Tony Bispeskov, the overall operation has been successful in meeting customer demand for train bus transport.

Customers have generally accepted the longer travel times associated with the bus replacements. Most passengers were aware in advance of the need for train buses due to track work.

The travel plan changes affect InterCity and InterCityLyn train passengers on routes between Copenhagen and Fredericia, Copenhagen and Aarhus, and Copenhagen and Esbjerg. Passengers using regional trains on Zealand and Funen should also be aware of potential alterations to their schedules. The changes, which began on Friday, will remain in effect through Saturday, July 19th.
