Odense secured their place in the Danish Championship final with a decisive 38-32 victory over Ikast. The win followed a draw in the first semi-final match. Odense will now face Team Esbjerg in the final.

Despite a strong start from Ikast, who initially led 5-3, Odense quickly turned the tide. Five consecutive goals gave the Funen team an 8-5 advantage. Ikast managed to stay competitive, with Julie Scaglione bringing the score to 11-12 with eight minutes left in the first half. However, Odense increased their tempo and pulled ahead, with Elma Halilcevic extending the lead to 19-13. Helena Elver’s goal just before halftime made it 20-15, placing Ikast at a disadvantage going into the second half.

Odense, led by players such as Malin Aune, maintained their lead throughout the second half. Elver’s goal to make it 28-20 seemed to secure Odense’s victory. Although Ikast attempted a late comeback, reducing the score to 28-31 and then 31-34 with five minutes remaining, they were unable to close the gap.

Odense maintained control in the final minutes, securing their place in the Danish Championship final. Team Esbjerg had previously earned their spot in the final with a win against Copenhagen.
