“Secrets We Keep,” a Danish miniseries titled “Reservatet” in its original language, has become a major hit on Netflix, securing the top spot on the streaming service’s list of most-watched non-English language series. The show garnered 10.3 million views during the period from May 12 to May 18.
The series, which premiered on Netflix on May 15, is set in an affluent area north of Copenhagen and revolves around the sudden disappearance of a Filipino au pair.
“Reservatet” has been well-received by Danish critics. For example, Soundvenue’s reviewer awarded the series five out of six stars, praising its ability to handle intricate themes with depth and nuance.
