Two More Arrests in Viborg Assault and Deprivation of Liberty Case

Two additional individuals have been arrested and charged in connection with the assault, deprivation of liberty, and violence inflicted upon a 17-year-old boy in Viborg in April. The suspects, a 21-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man, were apprehended by South and Southeast Jutland Police early Saturday morning.

The arrests follow an incident on April 19, during which the victim was attacked, held captive, and subjected to violence by a group in a forest area near Viborg. The perpetrators also robbed the boy and broke his fingers.

Police discovered the bruised teenager after spotting headlights from a car in the forest. The car belonged to the perpetrators.

The police had received a report about the assault approximately one hour before finding the boy at 10:39 PM. The two recently arrested individuals were wanted by the police.

Both suspects deny the charges against them and are scheduled to appear before a judge for preliminary hearings at the Court in Viborg at noon on Saturday. According to reports, nine individuals are already in custody related to this case. The preliminary hearing is being held behind closed doors, restricting access to the police’s evidence.
