Artigeardit’s inaugural performance on the Orange Stage at Roskilde Festival was met with widespread acclaim, earning high ratings from multiple publications. The Danish-Albanian rapper navigated the stage with confidence and energy, delivering a memorable show that captivated a large, primarily young audience.
Politiken awarded the performance a perfect six hearts, praising Artigeardit’s “razor-sharp, explosive flow” and overall mastery of the stage. B.T. and Soundvenue both gave the concert four stars.
The concert was not only Artigeardit’s first on the Orange Stage but also the first to feature performance interpretation. This service, distinct from direct sign language interpretation, aims to enhance the show for both hearing-impaired and hearing audience members.
Despite starting in pouring rain, the sun emerged after fifteen minutes, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. Artigeardit welcomed a series of guest performers, including Tobias Rahim, Josva, Mø, Barselona, and Lamin, further energizing the crowd.
While Soundvenue noted a somewhat routine opening, they acknowledged the concert’s gradual improvement into something “really good.” The inclusion of performance interpretation was deemed a success, with positive feedback from attendees. Mika Christoffersen, head of participation and diversity at Roskilde Festival, highlighted the additional dimension it brought to the show.
