Denmark’s employment rate continues to climb, reaching a new record in March with 3,050,200 employed individuals, according to Statistics Denmark. This figure represents an increase of 3,200 compared to February.

The strong labor market shows no signs of weakening despite global uncertainties, according to Steen Nielsen, deputy director of the Confederation of Danish Industry, who anticipates continued employment growth for the remainder of the year, albeit possibly at a slower pace.

Immigrants and older individuals are significantly contributing to the recent employment surge. Erik Bjørsted, chief economist at Dansk Metal, highlighted the historically high employment rate among non-Western immigrants, particularly women, as a substantial advancement.
