East Jutland Police are currently conducting a search for two men suspected of robbing a watch shop in central Aarhus. The robbery occurred on Friday afternoon, and authorities are actively investigating the incident.
The suspects allegedly stole watches valued at several million kroner, according to Police Inspector Brian Voss Olsen.
The police describe the robbery as violent, stating that the two perpetrators threatened staff with what appeared to be a pistol.
Following the robbery, the two men fled in the direction of the Aarhus harbor.
Police are present in multiple locations throughout Aarhus as part of the search operation. They are urging citizens to come forward with any information they may have about the suspects. Members of the public are advised not to approach the men but to contact the police immediately if they spot them.
TV 2 Østjylland reports that police technicians are present on Rosensgade in central Aarhus, the same street where Kejser Aarhus, the targeted watch shop, is located. Kejser Aarhus specializes in selling used luxury watches, according to their website.
