A 17-year-old boy died in an accident in the Gudenåen river near Ulstrup. East Jutland Police reported the incident on X.

The boy was discovered lifeless in the river on Tuesday shortly before noon during a fishing trip. Preliminary investigations suggest no crime was committed.

After being found, the 17-year-old was transported to a hospital by helicopter. The boy’s family has been informed.

East Jutland Police will not release additional details about the incident.
