The final match was highly competitive, with Denmark and Sweden closely matched in the initial frames. However, Denmark began to gain an advantage from the third frame onwards, ultimately securing the win.

The Danish Bowling Federation highlighted the strategic coaching of national coach Michael Bai and assistant coach Jesper Agerbo as crucial to the victory. Their tactical decisions effectively neutralized Sweden’s efforts to regain the lead.

For Dan Østergaard, Bjørn Saksager, and Mathias Ankerdal, this victory marked their second gold medal of the European Championships. The trio had previously won gold in the trio event earlier in the week.
