A 35-year-old man has been sentenced to six years in prison and permanent expulsion from Denmark for negligent manslaughter in connection with a fatal car accident. The verdict was delivered at the Court in Herning on Thursday afternoon.

Milad Sadiqi was found guilty of causing the death of a 55-year-old woman in the accident, which took place on April 24th of last year.

The accident occurred on Vejlevej near Nørre Snede in Central Jutland. Sadiqi was driving at 111 kilometers per hour in a 90 kilometer per hour zone. This was confirmed by a car inspector’s statement and testimonies from other drivers.
