Royal Couple Supports Vulnerable Children, Veterans, and Women Victims of Violence

The Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary Foundation have donated 1.6 million kroner to 16 different projects, including holiday camps for vulnerable children, summer camps for veterans, and counseling for women victims of violence.

A quarter of a million kroner has been allocated to the Youth Red Cross to hold holiday camps for vulnerable children and young people.

The Danish Sports Federation will receive 100,000 kroner for its soldier project, which organizes summer camps for veterans.

Furthermore, 50,000 kroner has been granted to the Greenlandic Society for the publication of the Tidsskriftet Grønland (Journal Greenland).

The Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary Foundation supports humanitarian, social, cultural, scientific, sports, educational, non-profit, and charitable causes.

King Frederik serves as chairman of the foundation, and Queen Mary is a member. Morten Roland Hansen is the foundation director.
