Sabrina Carpenter is set to release new music this Friday, according to a recent announcement on her Instagram. The song is seemingly titled “Manchild.”

The post includes a picture of the 26-year-old singer appearing to hitchhike on a country road, with the caption, “This one is about you.” This is a follow up to her smash summer hit “Espresso” released in April 2024.

Carpenter’s recent successes include her hit song “Espresso,” which has garnered nearly 2.3 billion streams on Spotify. “Espresso” won Best Pop Performance of the Year at the Grammy Awards.

Her album “Short n’ Sweet” from 2024 also won Best Pop Album of the Year. Carpenter received six nominations at the Grammy Awards, including “Album of the Year.”

She is also known for songs such as “Please Please Please” and “Taste.” Carpenter currently has approximately 63.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

Spotify commented on the news of Carpenter’s upcoming release, stating, “Sabrina said you all need another summer song.”

Carpenter’s debut album, “Eyes Wide Open,” was released in 2015. In 2023, she opened for over 20 of Taylor Swift’s concerts on “The Eras Tour” in Latin America, Australia, and Singapore. Last year’s album “Short n’ Sweet” featured the hit song “Espresso.”

Earlier this spring, Carpenter performed two sold-out concerts at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark.

In addition to her music career, Sabrina Carpenter is also an actress, best known for her role as Maya in the Disney series “Girl Meets World,” which premiered in 2014.
