AGF has ended its collaboration with head coach Uwe Rösler following a string of losses. The Superliga club announced the decision in a press release, stating it was made after a thorough evaluation involving the board, management, and Rösler himself.
The evaluation concluded that “the energy is exhausted and that renewal is needed,” according to football director Carsten V. Jensen. He clarified that the decision was not solely based on the seven consecutive defeats in the championship playoffs.
Jensen emphasized the demanding nature of significantly advancing AGF, as Rösler has done during his tenure. The evaluation considered the overall intensity and challenges faced by everyone in the organization.
