Police have decided not to file charges after a banner encouraged motorists in Fredericia to honk if they spotted a “blue” prime ministerial candidate during a right-wing convention. The Southeast Jutland Police confirmed that no violations were found to have occurred as a result of the banner.

The incident involved a banner displayed on a truck, organized by the Social Democrats, during a meeting attended by several bourgeois parties.

Law enforcement initially contacted the haulier to remind them that horns should only be used in situations of danger, and that encouraging others to honk is prohibited.

Police reacted to a report about the banner to prevent disruptive or dangerous traffic behavior, according to police inspector Michael Weiss.
