A serious five-vehicle accident near Hovedgård in Horsens Municipality has left one person critically injured. The collision occurred on Monday afternoon, prompting a swift response from emergency services and the closure of the affected road.
The Southeast Jutland Police reported that the accident took place at 5:10 PM on Gl. Aarhusvej, near an exit. One person sustained serious injuries and was transported by helicopter to Skejby Hospital. Their condition is currently described as critical.
Several ambulances and a medical helicopter were dispatched to the scene. The number of individuals involved in the accident remains unknown. The Southeast Jutland Police are currently conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the collision.
