A 41-year-old man is facing charges of attempted murder after a stabbing incident occurred at Aarhus Central Station on Thursday. The victim, a 23-year-old man, was stabbed in the neck on a platform at the station.
The East Jutland Police announced that the incident was reported at 4:42 PM, leading to the immediate arrest of the 41-year-old suspect. Train services between Skanderborg and Langå were temporarily suspended following the stabbing.
The injured 23-year-old was promptly taken to the emergency room for treatment. The 41-year-old man is scheduled to appear in court at the Aarhus Court at 10 AM on Friday for a preliminary hearing. The prosecution is expected to request that he be held in custody.
East Jutland Police have not yet disclosed the 41-year-old man’s plea regarding the attempted murder charge.
