Police are asking for the public’s help in gathering information about a reported rape that occurred in Roskilde on Sunday night. The Midt- and West Zealand Police confirmed the incident in their public daily report on Monday.

The alleged assault took place around 12:30 AM in a backyard located at Hersegade 13. A 19-year-old woman reported that she was forced into the backyard by a man who then raped her.

The police were notified of the incident approximately one hour later and immediately launched an investigation, including deploying dogs to the scene.

Authorities are seeking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the individuals or who might have information about the suspect. The suspect is described as a Danish-speaking man, aged 18 to 25, standing between 180 and 190 centimeters tall, and wearing light-colored trousers and a light-colored, short-sleeved shirt.
