Jan Kuchta has been sold back to Sparta Prague by FC Midtjylland, the Danish club announced on Friday. The Czech Republic international striker returns to his former team after a brief stint in Denmark.

Kuchta, who was initially signed by FC Midtjylland last summer, played 16 games for the club and scored two goals. In January, he was loaned back to Sparta Prague, where he rediscovered his form.

According to FC Midtjylland’s football director, Peter Sand, Kuchta is a proven goal scorer and assist provider in the Czech Republic. While the club had high expectations for him, they acknowledged that his time with the team did not meet those expectations.
