A 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged with attempted manslaughter following a shooting in Vejen.

The incident occurred in Rønnebærhaven, Vejen, where a 44-year-old man was shot. Police received multiple reports of the shooting on Sunday evening.

The victim was transported to the hospital and is now out of danger.

The suspect was apprehended in Ribe and is believed to be responsible for the shooting.

Police will maintain a presence at locations in both Vejen and Ribe throughout the night.
