An 88-year-old woman has died after being struck by a car while cycling in Humlum, north of Struer. The accident occurred on Wednesday evening as the woman attempted to cross Remmestrandvej.

Police and rescue personnel responded to the scene at 8:37 PM following reports of the incident. The Central and West Jutland Police confirmed the cyclist’s death.

Authorities have notified the woman’s family of the tragic event.
