Danish national team coach Brian Riemer has accepted full responsibility for the team’s 0-0 draw against Scotland in their recent World Cup qualifying match. The game, held in Parken before a crowd of approximately 35,000, saw Denmark, the favored team, struggle to create scoring opportunities.

Riemer acknowledged that the team failed to execute their planned strategy, particularly in creating dangerous attacking positions and displaying sharpness in their movements. He pointed to the team’s 47 crosses, which he felt were delivered from excessively wide positions, allowing Scotland to easily clear the ball.

Despite the disappointing result, Riemer remains optimistic about Denmark’s chances in the remaining World Cup qualifying matches. He emphasized that the team will strive to gather as many points as possible in the five matches that remain.
