A 30-year-old Polish man is in the hospital after being stabbed in the stomach in Virum, north of Copenhagen. The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon near Lyngby Sø.
The North Zealand Police received a report at 3:44 PM after the man approached a Danish person, who noticed his wounds. According to duty officer Nicolai Lynge, the police are investigating the stabbing.
The Polish man, who is conscious, told authorities that he was stabbed by another person.
Police have cordoned off the area and are exploring various possible scenarios. Fortunately, the man’s injuries are not life-threatening.
