A 34-year-old man has been remanded in custody for four weeks after being charged with the attempted murder of a 36-year-old man in Ballerup. The incident occurred on Baltorpvej on Wednesday evening.
The Copenhagen West Police confirmed the arrest and subsequent preliminary hearing on X. The suspect pleaded not guilty during the closed-door hearing on Thursday. However, the judge determined there was sufficient cause to hold him in custody.
Police were alerted to the knife attack shortly before 8 p.m. on Wednesday. The victim sustained injuries to his abdomen and was initially reported to be in critical condition.
As of Thursday, the police have not disclosed the relationship between the two men involved in the incident. Furthermore, no information regarding a potential motive has been released to the public.
