Train services between Helsingør and Hillerød on the Lille Nord line are currently suspended Thursday morning due to an accident where a person was hit by a train.

The incident, reported by DR P4, involved a cyclist who was struck at a crossing used by both pedestrians and cyclists.

The North Zealand Police were notified of the accident at 6:52 AM.

According to police reports, the cyclist sustained minor injuries.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Agnetevej and Rørtangsvej.

Police indicate that visibility at the crossing where the collision took place was good.

While the train driver was not physically harmed, a colleague relieved the driver from duty following the incident.
