A 41-year-old man from Albertslund has been remanded in custody in connection with a plot to murder four people in Pakistan. The Copenhagen Vestegns Police prosecution announced the detention, which occurred on Wednesday afternoon at the Court in Glostrup.

The detention follows the initial arrest of a 37-year-old man, also from Albertslund, on August 1st. Investigators believe this individual allegedly paid for the planned crimes.

The charges relate to attempted murder, as the scheme was uncovered before it could be carried out. The alleged victims, consisting of two women, a man, and one unidentified individual, reportedly returned to Denmark from Pakistan, averting the deadly plan.

The 37-year-old suspect, who has a Pakistani background, has pleaded not guilty.

The specifics of the case remain shielded from public view, as court hearings have been conducted behind closed doors.
