Citizens in Norddjurs and Nordfyns municipalities experienced the highest average number of contacts with their general practitioner in 2024, reaching 8.3 contacts per person. This data was recently released by Statistics Denmark.

The figure of 8.3 represents the average across various methods of contact, including in-person visits, phone calls, video consultations, and electronic communications.

In contrast, Copenhagen and Egedal municipalities reported the lowest average number of doctor contacts, with 6.1 and 5.9 contacts per person, respectively.

Nationally, the average number of contacts with a general practitioner is 7.2 per citizen. This highlights the variations in healthcare utilization across different regions of Denmark.
