Two Men Assisted Swedish Teen in Copenhagen Attempted Murder Case

An 18-year-old Swedish man has been extradited to Denmark in connection with an attempted murder that occurred in April of last year in Nørrebro, Copenhagen.

The incident took place on Sankt Hans Torv. Two men with alleged ties to the banned Loyal To Familia (LTF) gang are accused of aiding the Swedish teen.

The Swede is scheduled to appear in Copenhagen City Court for a preliminary hearing Tuesday morning, where authorities will request his remand. Before his extradition, he was already serving time in a Swedish prison for other offenses.

The charges against the Swede include attempted murder and possession of weapons. The case is scheduled to be heard in court this fall.

The attempted murder occurred on April 29 of the previous year at a barber shop in Nørrebro. According to the indictment, the 18-year-old arrived at the salon armed with a pistol, however, the door was locked, and the intended victim sought safety in a back room.

The target of the attack is believed to have been a former member of the NNV gang, which disbanded at the end of 2022.

According to the police, one of the men associated with the LTF gang provided clothing to the Swedish teen, while the other supplied a hotel room.

The Swede denies all charges against him.
