Nikolaj Sommer has been named the new Managing Editor of Børsen, while Jesper Buchvald will assume the role of CEO. The appointments follow the departure of Bjarne Corydon, who is set to become the Director-General of DR on August 1st.
Corydon’s previous position, which encompassed both Managing Editor and CEO responsibilities, has been divided into these two separate roles.
Sommer, who was serving as Acting Editor-in-Chief, is a familiar figure at Børsen. Similarly, Buchvald has a long-standing connection with the newspaper, having been a member of its board since 2017. He will continue to serve as CEO of Bonnier Publications, which, like Børsen, is owned by Bonnier News. Buchvald has held the CEO position at Bonnier Publications since 2016.
