A 24-year-old man died after being struck by a train on the Lille Nord Lokalbane between Hillerød and Helsingør on Sunday morning. The incident led to a temporary suspension of train traffic, which has since been resumed.

The North Zealand Police (Nordsjællands Politi) reported the incident via social media platform X. The man’s family has been notified.

According to Duty Officer David Eckert, the police received a report of the collision at 6:35 AM. The incident occurred just north of the station in Hillerød. Police have been present at the scene to investigate.
