AaB is reportedly preparing for significant changes in its sporting management following the club’s relegation from the Superliga. Both sports director James Gow and head coach Kristoffer Wichmann are expected to depart.

The potential departure of Kristoffer Wichmann is particularly notable, as he was only appointed head coach on April 23rd, following the dismissal of Menno van Dam. Wichmann’s contract, initially set to run until the summer of 2027, is now likely to be terminated prematurely.

James Gow joined AaB in October 2023 as part of the new ownership’s management team.
