FC Copenhagen Secures Comfortable Victory Over Vejle

FC Copenhagen continued their winning streak with a 2-0 victory over Vejle at home in Parken on Saturday, marking their third win in just over a week, including a Champions League qualification match. The Danish team settled the match within the first half-hour with two goals, maintaining control throughout the game without needing to exert excessive effort.

The first goal came early as Lukas Lerager scored from the edge of the box, following a tackle by Thomas Delaney, giving FCK a 1-0 lead. Shortly after, a penalty awarded to FCK was canceled after a VAR review.

The second goal arrived in the 25th minute when Jordan Larsson, unchallenged, shot the ball into the opposite corner, extending FCK’s lead to 2-0.

Vejle, despite an optimistic start and significant ball possession, struggled to create substantial chances. FCK maintained control throughout the second half, limiting Vejle’s opportunities.

Magnus Mattsson nearly scored for FCK in the second half, while Vejle came close to reducing the deficit from a dead ball in the 83rd minute. FCK now prepares for their European return match against Drita in Kosovo on Tuesday, following a 2-0 victory in the first leg.
