A 28-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to attempted murder during a preliminary hearing held Thursday morning at the Lyngby Court. The man was apprehended Wednesday afternoon and is accused of plotting to murder an individual whose identity remains unknown to law enforcement.

The 28-year-old is alleged to have conspired with three other men, ages 27 and 28, who were previously taken into custody at the beginning of July. All four are accused of procuring a pistol and ammunition, along with an electric scooter, for a 15-year-old Swedish national allegedly hired to carry out the crime.

The arrests of the initial three suspects were made by the National Unit for Special Crime (NSK) on July 1 and July 2. Authorities believe the purchased items were intended to be used by the teenager to carry out the attempted murder, which was ultimately prevented by the arrests.

Due to the preliminary hearing being held behind closed doors, the specific evidence against the 28-year-old and his defense remain undisclosed.
