A 42-year-old man has been remanded in custody for 27 days following a preliminary hearing in Copenhagen City Court on Tuesday, facing charges for two separate rapes. The man, who pleads not guilty, was arrested on Monday morning.

The charges include a rape that allegedly occurred at approximately 7:15 AM in a parking garage in Vesterbro, Copenhagen. According to the indictment, the man is accused of subjecting a woman to gross violence and rape. The indictment also states that he allegedly put the woman in a chokehold, causing her to lose consciousness.

The man is also charged with a separate rape that allegedly occurred between midnight on November 2nd and 8:30 AM on November 4th at an address in Kastrup. The charges for this incident also involve violence and rape, with the 42-year-old accused of again putting the woman in a chokehold.
